When you get your Pinterest account, you will surely come to know how many friends are there on Pinterest and Pinterest suggests you to be friends with them.
You can directly follow here, by which you will be following all the Pin Boards made by that person.
Now as I searched for a person, similarly, you can search something of your interest, and follow a pin board that matches your interest to stay updated with that topic

In this post, lets see what means by following a Person or a Pin Board.
Follow a Person:
When you get your Pinterest account, you will surely come to know how many friends are there on Pinterest and Pinterest suggests you to be friends with them.
- In either case, you can always search for people and get to know if they are on Pinterest as in the below screen.
- In case you wanna know what all pin boards he/she has made, and follow only some - and not all his/her pin boards, go to his/her profile.
- Lets say, I follow only 2 boards out of all above, as follows.
Follow a Pin Board:
Now as I searched for a person, similarly, you can search something of your interest, and follow a pin board that matches your interest to stay updated with that topic
- Lets say, I wanna follow a Pin Board for Samsung Galaxy S2
