Chrome flags are a way to enable/disable feature in Chrome. The feature flags listed in the flag page might be fully implemented and by default available in the stable release or they might be for the experimental purpose and a little buggy. You can enable any such experimental feature flag without waiting for its release in standard Chrome version. Google Chrome offers the cutting edge browser technology through Chrome Flags for tech enthusiasts and advanced users, without ruining the average users' browsing experience.
Chrome flags has got a dedicated page to list out all available flags. You can access that page by typing chrome://flags into your Chrome's Omnibox/address bar. Once you are on the page, you can search (using CTRL/CMD + F) for a specific feature you wanted to enable/disable. Any changes you make to any flag requires you to relaunch the Chrome to bring it into effect.
Here are some of the most useful flags which would enhance your Chrome browsing experience.
Stacked Tabs (Windows)
After enabling this flag your tabs will start stacking instead shrinking on top of each other when space runs out. Again, to enable this flag enter chrome://flags/#stacked-tab-strip into Chrome Omnibox and press Enable button.

Whenever you visit a Google account login page an infobar under the omnibox will appear prompting you to sign in by just a click of button.
However, this feature only works if you are using Chrome Sync feature on your Chrome. The logic behind this is apparent and simple that you've already provided your Google account credentials to sync everything on your Chrome into Google Cloud. The credentials to sync your Chrome profile gets stored in secured cookie jar. And the same cookie is being utilized to authenticate your login to Google account login page. To enable this feature enter chrome://flags/#enable-autologin into Chrome Omnibox and press Enable button.
Enable Password Generation (Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS)
Enabling this flag will help you to lower your annoyance of creating a strong password while signing up for a new user account on any website. This flag will generate and fill in strong passwords while you are on account creation page. However, you will have to be signed in to your Chrome account and password manager feature has to be enabled in order to enable auto password generation feature. To enable this flag enter chrome://flags/#enable-password-generation into Chrome Omnibox and press Enable button.
Google Profile Picture as Your Chrome User Profile (Mac, Windows, Linux)
You can use your Google profile picture as your Chrome user profile. Once you enable this flag you should see your Google profile picture instead of the avatar. But again, you are required to be signed in into your Chrome browser in order to use this feature. To enable this flag enter chrome://flags/#enable-gaia-profile-info into Chrome Omnibox and press Enable button.
Offline Cache Mode (Mac, Windows, Linux, Chrome OS, Android)
Generally browsers display offline message when you try to access any webpage and it's not available due to some technical reasons. It may take minutes to several hours or days to fix the issue and bring website back to the normal stage.
Offline Cache Mode an experimental feature adds offline caching mechanism to your Chrome browser. This feature tries to load web page content from the cache entries whenever the webpage is not accessible. However, this only works if the page has been visited before and you've not cleared your browser cache. Quite obvious, isn't it? To enable this flag enter chrome://flags/#enable-offline-mode into Chrome Omnibox and press Enable button.
